In other news, I've gone from "I hope I figure out how to successfully fold this origami rose" to "I wonder how small I could fold an origami rose".
Please leave suggestions in the comments for what origami roses would be useful for. They don't fold flat, by the way.
I just got a call from the local volunteer firefighter fundraising association, and the lady calling was not NOT good at the calling thing.
I countered her first offer with the old I'll have to talk with my husband before I commit to anything, and she replied, "I appreciate that you want to associate with your husband..."
Mmmmm, damn right I want to associate with him. I'm going to associate with him as soon as he gets home.

Oh, right, I forgot
Y'all should know I got me a digital camera.
Time previously spent word-blogging is now being refocused on photo posting.
viva la flickr.
and pardon the pun.
Please check out the spam comment to my previous post.
I'm not going to delete it, because the author made this plea:
"Please remember to never
restrict anyone's opportunities
for ascertaining uninterrupted
existence for their quintessence."

I learn something new every day. I could have done without today's.
I think I would rather have spent my life in ignorance rather than find out that Bill Paxton played a Nazi in the music video for Pat Benetar's "Shadows of the Night."
There are so many things wrong with that whole image, I don't know where to start.
So I won't.

Never mattered before, who cares
Ever since that damned Family Guy episode I cannot CANNOT rid myself of the Mr. Belvedere theme. GodDAMMIT. I mean, it has been DAYS. It comes back over and over.
Extreme measures will be taken this weekend.
I just might live the good life yet.
